The Aim
The goal of this project was to redesign specific features within an existing application. This not only provided an opportunity to work with the Figma application but also served as a learning experience for IOS mobile design and the IOS UI kit.
The focus was on enhancing the user experience and functionality of the application, while also gaining valuable insight into the intricacies of designing for iOS platforms.
The Process
The process for this project, quick watercooler-style chats at the gym, chatting with friends and fellow climbers to understand their needs, wants, and frustrations with the current application. It was all about getting down to the nitty-gritty, straight from the source.
And when inspiration struck, or lack of it, I hit up various inspiration sites to see how a redesign of a feature could look. It was like diving into a treasure trove of design possibilities!
Then the hard but fun work happened. I dove straight into Figma, armed with screenshots of the existing app and the IOS UI kit. It was like being a Kid building lego again, piecing together a masterpiece one pixel at a time.
The result? A sleek, user-friendly redesign that's sure to take the kilter board climbing experience to new heights!
